Welsh counties

Hi,

I was wondering whether I might be able to help with the Welsh section of the forum as there seem to be some counties missing and several I don't know exist?

I was thinking the same thing lol, Swansea isnt really Carmarthenshire, Port Talbot is Neath & Port Talbot, Cardiff should really be in on its own as its the capital city... lol sorry getting carried away!!

I think the current counties in the Welsh section of the forum was probably based on this map: http://www.abcounties.co.uk/counties/map.htm which is based on the old pre 1996 counties.

Cardiff is City and County but on so many sites I still have to put Glamorgan lol

Yep well the second link is spot on I think, definitely most recent as Neath & Port Talbot only merged as one county 4 or 5 years ago:
