We started out rescuing the dogs of Nowzad in Afghanistan that "adopted" the soldiers serving there and now our goal is to fund the rescue of abandoned and stray dogs and cats, (anywhere in the world), whilst assisting with their welfare and the running costs of the rescue shelters. We realise we cannot bring all the stray animals of the world back to the UK but we can help to fund vital work that is carried out by the overseas rescues such as promotion and support of their educational programs or the training and funding of the free neutering clinics. We have started small but with your help we can only get bigger! All the money you donate goes directly towards helping the animals in need while raising awareness of the problems that homeless animals, wherever they are in the world, can and do face.

We are also supporting the Mayhew Animal Home in their work to train the vets of tomorrow that come from developing countries and don't have the adequate educational facilities in place. We keep all administration costs to a minimum - the Nowzad Dogs team are all volunteers - we don't get paid by your donations or want to.
