I never received any mass pm's either, mine was from a member who left of his own accord due to accusations

Well then he wasnt deleted because he was banned. He chose to leave.
If he is on the new site I am sure you can contact him through there.
Re: PM NOTIFICATION CODS-UP!
I can contact him through his own site, that isn't the issue, it was just a query as to why pm's disappear when the senders do
I thought they would stay in my inbox maybe under "guest"

Nope. Again, this has nothing to do with RHU. They have no control over that feature. It's a free forum hosted by Forumotion using their software so it's not something that can be altered in any way.

Re: PM NOTIFICATION CODS-UP!
I am not sure in every individual case so might be worth as advised PMing admin to ask.
Re: PM NOTIFICATION CODS-UP!
Sorry folks only just caught up with this thread
Most of you are right the magical pm's disappear when a member deletes their account, it's beyond anyone's control it is unfortunately a feature that comes with the forumotion package

Re: PM NOTIFICATION CODS-UP!
Surely if their PM's disappear then their posts should too?

Re: PM NOTIFICATION CODS-UP!
Ok I'm even more confused now.
I did get an email saying I had a pm, and then when I looked, nothing there. Just presumed it was spam that had been automatically deleted.
But regardless of any 'he said, she said', which I haven't the slightest interest in .... if those leaving are genuine rescues that others here may need to contact about cases, would it not be better to avoid all the rumour-mongering and just name them so people know to contact them by another means?

Re: PM NOTIFICATION CODS-UP!
Your question has been answered many times over pms automatically delete when 'members delete their accounts' and posts show as 'guest' this protects all parties concerned, this will now be locked.
Please do not start a new thread regarding this matter as this takes time away from the urgent sections pm admin if you require further clarification Thankyou
